A Dojo To Come Home To
What is a dojo? Is it a community you belong to? Or is it simply a store where you purchase a product?
The Operation Was A Success
“The operation was a success,” begins the old joke. “But the patient died.” It’s a humorous (sort of) way of asking a very important question: When does the cure become worse than the disease?
Just A Warmup
Ever seen a video of a Black Friday brawl? It happens every year as shoppers stampede, argue, and physically assault each other over items in stores just because they are on sale. Just do a web search for “Black Friday fights,” and you’ll find tons of them.
How to Destroy the US Auto Industry
Trustworthy
Some believe that the cooperative give and take during practice means that aikido is not a truly dangerous martial art. I would tell you that is absolutely not the case.
Don't Call Him Moderate
Was anyone operating under the assumption that Biden was some sort of moderate when it came to gun issues?
The Bridge of Death
He who would cross the Bridge of Death must answer me these questions three, ere the other side he see.
The Gun Owners' Guide to Democrat Presidential Candidates
Are you ticked off about President Trump’s lack of support for the Second Amendment? Steamed that he banned bump stocks? Are you annoyed that he hasn’t signed executive orders repealing FOPA, GCA, NFA, and enacting nationwide constitutional carry? We also enjoy Republican majorities in both houses of the General Assembly, making any bill proposing tighter gun restrictions essentially dead on arrival.
So It Begins
While it is tempting to view Speaker Pelosi ripping up her copy of the State of the Union address as the tantrum of a defeated child, I fear it is a sign of an even greater danger to come. Rather than signifying ultimate loss, her gesture may well signal a political left which now feels it has nothing left to lose.
"Get Some Training!"
How do you know she doesn’t have training?
Love Over Like
Fact: I haven’t watched an NFL football game since week two of the 2016 season. That’s when Colin Kaepernick started his hateful campaign against America. While I almost could have overlooked a single angry and misguided young man taking a knee during the National Anthem, when the League…in its refusal to put a stop to it…effectively condoned the behavior, I was done.
