The annual “Monster Match” at my local USPSA club is designed to be fun (it was) and to burn a lot of ammo (it did). It is, however, not designed to cater to low capacity divisions like the one I usually shoot, Single Stack major. Still, I probably would have been OK had I actually made my shots…and shot my stages as planned.
No Such Thing
There is no such thing as a gun-free zone. It is only gun-free until it isn’t anymore, and that is when a criminal ignores your silly rule and commits murder anyway. The only thing gun-free are the law-abiding citizens within, disarmed and at the mercy of a killer.

Yes, VIRGINIA, there is gun control. It exists as certainly as California and New York and New Jersey exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its most commonsense gun safety. Alas! how powerful would be the peasants if there were no gun control.

It is election day here in Kentucky…and a few other places across the nation. Yesterday, my niece texted me and said, “I feel like this election is a big deal.” I responded to her, “They all are.”
