If You Want To Get To Heaven

Actually, this secret needs to be told to the gun control movement: If you want to get to gun control heaven and disarm America, you’re going to have to control America’s borders. That is, if you really intend to reduce violent crime committed with guns, you are going to have to find a way to keep them from being smuggled across a border which is essentially wide open.

Because even if you could wave a magic wand and confiscate every single privately owned gun in America today, new guns will simply be walked across our wide-open southern border tomorrow…and straight into the black market, destined for the hands of criminals. Criminals who would then be facing a completely disarmed American populace.

Ban guns all you want. But if you can’t (or won’t) keep them out, you can’t keep guns out.

After all, if you cannot prevent full-sized, actual human beings from simply walking into the United States, how do you expect to prevent them from bringing guns (much smaller than a human being) with them? In a severely gun restricted America, there would also likely be a good bit of money to be made in the black market, translating into plenty of incentive for “undocumented importers.”

So riddle me this, gun controllers: How do you expect to rid America of guns with open borders? Gun rights folks, here’s the secret they don’t want to tell: They don’t expect to rid America of guns. Just you.
