Get A Move On

It was a fun USPSA match at Miami Rifle & Pistol Club this weekend, and I shot pretty well (for me). But as the title might suggest, the mover on Stage 2 was my downfall.

It appears in the video as the fourth stage of the day, as my squad started on Stage 5 out of six total stages. Stage 6 (the second stage of the day) was my best of the match. But on Stage 2 I threw two misses at the moving targets mounted on the “rollercoaster,” and managed to hit a no-shoot on the last position. That will definitely mess up your score.

You’ll also note that there’s no drone video on the classifier or on the final stage of the day. I didn’t bother putting the drone up for the classifier because it was so short, and on the last stage the battery petered out after I had launched it, so it simply hovered in place and beeped while I shot.

But as the saying goes, “Let’s go to the videotape!”…
