About Par For The Course

Last Sunday’s USPSA match at Miami Rifle and Pistol Club was just about par for the course. I’ve shot better, but I’ve also shot worse. A couple of misses in a match where all the stages are relatively short mean that there isn’t much of an opportunity to make up for the lost points elsewhere, so they definitely hurt. I also lost some time struggling to get hits on a couple of pieces of steel on Stage 2, and again, there isn’t much of a chance to recover on a short stage. Scores can be found at this link.

But it was a good time (as always), and I was able to turn a couple of friends into new USPSA shooters…and that’s a good thing.
